Summary

Join AlphaSense as the Director of Global Organic Social Media and lead the development and execution of a comprehensive global organic social media strategy. This leadership role requires at least 10 years of social media management experience, preferably in high-growth technology companies, and 7 years of people management experience. You will oversee a small team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage data to drive meaningful engagement and brand awareness. The position offers the opportunity to shape a global social media program and directly influence market perception and company growth. This full-time role is based in the US and offers the option for in-person or remote work (East Coast preferred). Requirements

  • BA or equivalent/related background
  • At least 10 years of experience in social media management, preferably with high-growth technology companies
  • At least 7 years of people management experience and a strong track record of professional team growth
  • History of developing organic social strategies that drive results
  • A deep passion for brand and social metrics, and an ability to connect them to business impact
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data to create compelling narratives to influence leadership decisions
  • A deep understanding of organic social best practices, platform and channel insights, social listening and reporting
  • Demonstrated success in social media content strategy and audience engagement across major platforms
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, honed over years of short-form and long-form content development
  • Possesses project management and organizational skills with a focus on delivering measurable results
  • Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making and provide evidence-based recommendations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global organic social media strategy to strengthen AlphaSense’s brand affinity and awareness while driving meaningful engagement
  • Establish consistent reporting practices and regular KPIs for executive leadership to track progress and deliver actionable quarterly insights
  • Lead audience mapping, targeting, and campaign development to execute on organic social strategy
  • Manage best practices and guidelines for social media use amongst employees and oversee reputation management and customer outreach
  • Create cross-functional training initiatives internally to educate on social selling and expand company-wide knowledge base on the benefits of social
  • Drive alignment across numerous internal teams (PR, AR, Product, Sales, Events, Design, Web, etc) to create strong bonds to organic social media strategy
  • Engage with online communities to build relationships and foster loyalty among followers
  • Oversee organic social media budgets, maximizing value and ROI while maintaining a high quality of content
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media marketing and emerging platforms to keep the brand at the forefront of the industry
