Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading a team of program/project managers in a highly technical, matrixed environment
  • Proven track record of change management focused on building strong interdepartmental relationships and influencing people engagement and expectations management
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing project management methodologies within a complex matrixed agile organization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at various levels across multiple functions, including C-suite executives
  • Ability to make and recommend data-driven decisions and leverage project management, workflow, and analytics tools (e.g., Aha!, Monday, Looker Studio, Jira) to create a data-driven culture
  • Experience managing complex software-based projects with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, managing dependencies across many concurrent projects
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust project management framework encompassing methodologies, processes, and standards that optimize efficiency, transparency, and alignment with our strategic goals
  • Lead and mentor a team of high-performing Program Managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize their individual and collective impact
  • Partner closely with Platform PMO leadership, engineering, product, science, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication across all levels of the organization
  • Implement and continuously improve project management practices, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to drive value delivery for our end-users
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project management knowledge base, including templates, tools, and best practices, to empower teams and ensure consistency across all projects
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain a robust system for tracking key project metrics, providing actionable insights and data-driven reporting to inform decision-making at all levels
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment that encourages open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across all project teams
