Join Expel as a Platform Product Manager and drive customer retention and growth by developing and executing the platform strategy. You will lead a team of Product Managers, collaborating with various departments to build a roadmap addressing current and future needs. Success will be measured by internal and external adoption, requiring consistent planning, communication, and metric reporting. This role demands a strong understanding of information security, software engineering, and cost-value analysis. You will need to be able to lead your team and cross-functional initiatives, and have a minimum of 12 years of professional experience, with at least 5 in Product Management. Requirements

- A strong understanding of information security -- technologies, products and services
- Familiarity with software engineering processes, from coding to software deployment & associated tools
- Ability to analyze cost and value for a specific customer & customer segment
- A love for asking the right questions without "leading the witness"
- A strong ability to lead your team as well as cross functional initiatives
- A Bachelor’s degree or a compelling story
- 12+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 in Product Management
Responsibilities
- Ensure the retention and growth of Expel’s customers by driving the platform strategy
- Rally key collaborators in service delivery, engineering, program management and other product managers
- Build, coach and mentor a team of Product Managers
- Carry the platform banner aloft so the rest of the company can understand and get excited about the platform’s promise
- Regularly review and report on variance on metrics with help from engineering, finance, service delivery, CTO and others
- Articulate the tradeoffs by forecasting which metrics you can move when it comes time to pick a path
- Spend time with our customers and ops team to understand their problems and work with them to come up with meaningful solutions
- Provide our teams with the context they need to build an outstanding user experience
- See through the haze of feature requests and requirements to the underlying needs and opportunities that will make our customers successful
- Distill your ideas into a prioritized roadmap that, even though it makes us uncomfortable, we can execute on
