Summary

Join the QuartzBio team as Director, Project Management (QuartzBio) to oversee project planning and execution for SaaS solutions across the portfolio. Develop processes and best practices for project management in a SaaS business. Lead a team of project managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in project management or related field operating in a software or software as a service organization
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing teams
  • Proven ability to operate in a customer-facing role
  • Proven leadership and strategic impact
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency for preparing and presenting business cases, both orally and in writing
  • Skill in presenting well-organized and convincing information that is clear and efficient and can be understood by all audiences
  • Excellent focus on customers, peers, and key vendor relationships to ensure expectations are met
  • Ability to establish structures and processes to plan and manage the orderly implementation of change
  • Good working knowledge of metrics to forecast project cost, schedule, effort, and quality

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to enhance project delivery and efficiency in the context of a SaaS business
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align project goals with business objectives
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software implementations, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with customer expectations
  • Contribute to the design and use of project management tools, task management tools, and other internal systems to track project progress, risks, and issues
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements, expectations, and feedback, and ensure the project management team is operating proactively to manage customers and stakeholders
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure effective communication and information sharing with customers, senior leadership, and other stakeholders across the QuartzBio business
  • Provide project management support on accounts as needed in areas such as creation of project schedules, customer presentations, status reports, or other deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

Work experience and academic studies in the areas of translational medicine, clinical trials or drug development or a related discipline
