Director, Technical Product Management

Summary

Join Western Digital as the Director of Technical Product Management and lead the product strategy and management for datacenter SSDs. You will collaborate with engineering, customers, and partners to define product requirements and manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to post-release. Responsibilities include strategic planning, feature selection, and collaborating with marketing on sales materials. A BS/MS degree or equivalent experience, along with 8+ years in product management and a strong understanding of flash-based products are required. • 8+ years in product management

Responsibilities

• Complement your creativity through deep interaction with engineering, customers, customer support and partners to understand requirements and needs
• Be responsible for all stages of the product life cycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelize the products and product strategy both internally and externally
