As a trusted advisor to the GM, you will uncover, develop, and drive performance improvements across the organization. You will partner with cross-functional groups, from marketing to product, to develop and deliver deep user segmentation with clear actions and recommendations. This leadership role requires experience in analytics and strategic insights, a passion for steering strategic vision, and the ability to build and develop a team. The position is full-time and can be held remotely in the US or from one of Fetch's US offices. You will be responsible for business performance and user insights, vertical planning, and serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in a similar insights role, blending analytical acumen, storytelling, and strategy
- Highly Proficient in data visualization
- Data Modeling Experience
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Must have worked cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders/departments to impact change on business
- Strategic mindset and ability to anticipate / see around corners
- Experience in an analytical role, with the ability to develop your own analysis
- Comfortable presenting in front of executives and large groups
- Able to communicate technical information to non-technical counterparts
- Must be comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership for the business and vertical’s strategy, mission, and vision
- Ability to develop and deliver deep user segmentation with clear actions and recommendations
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to wider business, including non-technical cross functional leadership to drive strategy
- Coordinates the development of materials focused on articulating business and vertical strategy
- Excels at providing user and customer insights to business stakeholders in a compelling manner
- Leads the development of vertical reviews to validate progress or adherence to performance expectations and identify areas of risks
- Drives data-driven decision-making and objective setting and identifies/prioritizes notable risks within the business
- Identifies and works cross-functionally to remove barriers that prevent realization of the business or vertical strategy
- Has uncanny ability to break down large problems into smaller initiatives and provides clear recommendations
- Responsible for user first strategy and to align business, product and marketing teams with the key problem statements and opportunity areas. goals
- Develop deep user and customer insights to help propel our reward distribution and product strategy
- Exhibits expert-level conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
- Partners with key cross functional stakeholders to implement and continuously improve our insight to action ratio
- Partners with Finance and other key collaborators to own business forecasting and reporting
- Aligns planning and budget to functional and company priorities, working cross-functionally with peers
- Develops action plans based on performance expectations
- Plans and prepares materials for vertical leadership and executive meetings
- Participates in regular leadership meetings to evaluate barriers to success and develop courses of action to overcome issues
- Anticipates business issues; recommends improvements based on data backed insights
- Represents and provides support to an executive or vertical head to facilitate effective decision-making which has a significant impact on the organization; this includes Strategy planning, roadmap development, operational planning, leading key functional priorities, and meeting planning and preparation
- Has a high impact on the implementation of critical initiatives that carry out overarching functional and organizational objectives
- Establishes and maintains organizational savviness, an executive presence and high level of discernment for area support and also for entire function in order to unearth issues, opportunities, and problems
- Represents and provides support to the GM and his leadership team, including defining the path forward, ensuring they have what they need, and holding them accountable for execution
