Summary

Join MyFitnessPal's Editorial team as a summer intern and gain hands-on experience in publishing and editorial work. You will assist in content creation, editing, and publication, working closely with the editorial team. This internship offers a chance to sharpen your content creation skills and make a real impact while tailoring content for diverse digital channels. You will write and edit content for various platforms, collaborate on content briefs, and monitor content performance. The ideal candidate is a current full-time college student with familiarity with content management systems and strong communication skills. The internship is paid, with a potential for full-time conversion upon graduation.

Requirements

• Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal
• Undergraduate students graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 (rising Juniors or Seniors)
• Must have familiarity with content management systems like WordPress
• Understanding of how content is consumed on platforms like LinkedIn, blogs, and newsletters
• Self-starter with strong time management skills, capable of managing projects from start to finish
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Write and edit content tailored for various platforms, including product education, newsletters, landing pages, LinkedIn captions, and infographics
• Adapt writing style and tone to suit the unique audiences and goals of each platform
• Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and create content briefs for platform-specific projects
• Implement best practices for each platform to ensure optimal performance and engagement
• Use CMS tools (like WordPress) to upload, format, and publish content
• Monitor performance of content across platforms using tools like Google Analytics and provide actionable recommendations for future content
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify creative opportunities and refine content strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., SERanking, Google Analytics)
• Bonus if you have you currently create your own editorial content for a blog, social media channel, or newsletter!
