Summary

Join AKKO, a venture-funded and fast-growing insurtech company, as an Education Sales Manager, Direct and Channel. Drive the growth of education and channel sales by developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, managing relationships with channel partners, and collaborating with the marketing team.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the education sector and/or channel sales, startup experience a plus
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 education market and its unique challenges
  • Experience managing national channel sales, with strong partner relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of the education market, including an understanding of district purchasing processes
  • Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting the K-12 education market
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers in school districts, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Present and demonstrate our insurtech solutions to schools and districts, highlighting the benefits for their specific needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor messaging and materials for the education sector
  • Oversee the development and execution of a national channel sales strategy to drive education sales
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, ensuring they are aligned with our business goals
  • Manage relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with the support and resources needed to drive education sales
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and marketing strategies
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results
