Summary

JetZero is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design and architect avionics and electrical systems for their blended wing aircraft. The engineer will be responsible for verifying designs, building test methodologies, utilizing simulation and lab facilities, working with SMEs and suppliers, and assisting in designing lab facilities. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 5 years of experience in aircraft avionics & electrical power systems, and specific technical skills. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or technical related curriculum applicable to the respective job position required
• 5 years in aircraft avionics & electrical power systems

Responsibilities

• Verify the design of the avionics architecture and electrical power distribution system
• Design and build test methodologies for avionics and electrical power systems
• Utilize simulation and lab facilities to test aircraft systems
• Work directly with SMEs and suppliers to test and verify aircraft system architecture
• Assist in designing lab facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with A429, A664, A717, CANBUS, LVDT/RVDT, analog to digital conversions required
• Experience with the FAA (14 CFR Part 25) or EASA (CS-25) certification is preferred
• System integration lab and/or aircraft functional testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred
• Experience with requirements management tools is preferred
