Elementary Math Teacher

Join Think Academy US as a Remote Elementary Math Teacher and work from anywhere! This full-time, contractor position involves teaching online math classes to students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Responsibilities include lesson preparation, teaching, student evaluations, grading, and parent communication. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree (STEM or Education preferred), prior teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with children. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Availability and willingness to work full-time from Wednesday to Sunday starting November 2024
• Passionate about teaching, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach online math classes for students on a weekly basis (7-10 classes = approximately 12-20 hours/week)
• Participate in paid teaching assistant work by attending classes and learning from experience lead teachers' teaching methods
• Conduct 1on1 evaluations with new students to help them enroll in the correct classes (5-10 hours/week)
• Grade homework and communicate with parents weekly to update them on students' learning progress and areas for improvement (5-7 hours/week)
• Other work assigned by teaching management team

• Prior math teaching experience
• Education or STEM-related majors
