Emergency Planning Supervisor

Summary

Join our team as an Emergency Planning Supervisor consultant (1099) and contribute to preparing emergency procedures and guidelines for nuclear power plants, while supervising staff with experience executing such procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Nuclear Engineering and/or Health Physics
• 20 years of nuclear reactor licensing experience
• At least 5 years of direct experience in preparing one or more of the following documents for commercial nuclear power plants: Emergency operating procedures (EOPs) and EOP bases, Emergency Action Levels (EALs), Severe Accident Mitigation Procedures (SAMPs) and SAMP bases, Severe Accident Guidelines (SAGs), Long-term coping procedures and bases, Extreme Damage Mitigation Guidelines (EDMGs)
• Experience working directly for a nuclear utility
• Superb attention to detail
• Expert written and oral communication skills
• Adept analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle information confidentially

Responsibilities

• Prepare various emergency procedures and guidelines for nuclear power plants
• Supervise staff who have experience executing emergency procedures
