Summary

Join our growing HR business unit as an Employee Communications Strategist to enable Verra Mobility to find, engage and develop the best people, and create the culture and environment for them to do their best work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in internal communications with at least two years directly supporting human resources or people operations functions
  • Proven track record of designing and executing measurable internal communications and change management campaigns that support business objectives
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-impact, high-visibility projects in collaboration with multiple functions and key stakeholders
  • Excellent writing, editing, multimedia content development and presentation skills
  • High technical proficiency in web content management systems, photo/video editing software
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 product suite
  • Proficient in analyzing user activity and system data to report on platform and campaign performance
  • Experience at global, public companies operating in multiple countries and/or at companies operating with a parent/subsidiary company model or portfolio company model a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute and enhance the global Verra Mobility communication framework to ensure aligned internal communications across all Verra Mobility businesses
  • Design and deliver corporate communication campaigns that use storytelling to strengthen the Employer Value Proposition and employees’ understanding of how they contribute to Verra Mobility’s collective success
  • Collaborate with HR leadership, HR Business Partners, and HR subject matter experts to create and deliver communication campaigns for all core, cyclical HR programs and processes (e.g., Talent Review, Engagement Survey)
  • Create high-quality content for corporate and HR communication campaigns to distribute in various channels (incl. intranet posts, email, web pages, videos, graphics, infographics, meeting presentations, etc.)
  • Manage existing communication channels as needed to meet business objectives and ensure global employees and leaders are informed, inspired and engaged (e.g., intranet sites, e-newsletters, communication kits)
  • Assist corporate functions (i.e., Finance, Legal, IT, Corporate Development) with communication and change management strategies for programs and processes that impact all global employees
  • Measure, report on, and innovate to improve the performance and effectiveness of communication campaigns and channels
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Corporate Marketing to create content that showcases the employee experience and employer brand in external media (e.g., verramobility.com, social media posts, annual corporate responsibility report)
  • Collaborate with and support the Director of People Experience on various initiatives designed to create an engaging and fulfilling workplace experience (e.g., live and virtual events)
  • Assist the HR senior leadership team in communicating HR-specific topics to the global HR team (e.g., global HR Town Hall, team announcements)
  • Work alongside HR senior leadership team to create and deliver crisis communications as necessary
  • Provide additional support as needed
