Join EBANX as our Employee & Labor Relations Specialist and become the go-to expert for labor relations, internal investigations, and employee conduct issues across our global workforce. You will assist in managing labor claims and disputes, support HR teams in managing employee terminations and disciplinary actions, and analyze labor trends to propose proactive solutions. Additionally, you will build relationships with unions, lead collective bargaining processes, and manage the global employee helpline for reporting misconduct. You will also conduct thorough investigations, monitor employment legislation, and develop compliance guidelines and training. This role requires experience in employee relations, labor relations, or employment law, particularly in a multinational environment, and strong knowledge of Brazilian labor law.
Requirements
- Experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Employment Lawโpreferably in a multinational or multi-country environment
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor law is required
- Hands-on experience conducting internal investigations and managing employee hotlines or whistleblowing channels
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues
- Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, and international environment
- Analytical and data-driven approach to identifying risk and informing decisions
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist on Lead and manage labor claims, disputes, and legal proceedings with employees in collaboration with internal and external legal counsel
- Support local HR teams in managing employee terminations, disciplinary actions, and other sensitive cases
- Analyze labor trends, identify risk areas, and propose proactive solutions
- Build and manage relationships with unions and employee representatives across various countries
- Lead and/or support collective bargaining processes, including negotiations, agreements, and compliance follow-ups
- Responsible for the global employee helpline for reporting misconduct, discrimination, or ethical breaches
- Conduct fair, thorough, and confidential investigations in line with internal policies and local legal frameworks
- Track and analyze case data to inform labor risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor changes in employment legislation across our key markets
- Partner with HRBPs and legal to ensure policies and practices are compliant with local laws
- Develop guidelines, training, and resources on labor relations topics
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in union relations and collective bargaining is a plus
- Exposure to other countries in LATAM, EMEA or APAC is a strong advantage
