Join Lime, the world's largest shared electric vehicle company, as an Employee Relations Manager based in France and supporting the EMEA region. Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in employee relations, HR, or labor law, with significant experience supporting multiple countries within the EMEA region
- Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in the EMEA region, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-country issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence work behaviours and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proven expertise in stakeholder management, effectively managing relationships with senior leadership, business partners, and external parties
- Experience in managing sensitive employee relations matters with a high degree of confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities, and provide strategic advice under pressure
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to adapt approaches to different countries and regions within EMEA
- Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to data gathering and root cause analysis. Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business
- Fluent in French/English
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues (performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, etc.) across 23+ EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with local laws and consistency in policy application
- Advise leadership on strategies to foster a positive, inclusive work environment, addressing concerns before they escalate
- Lead internal investigations on workplace issues, ensuring compliance and legal review, and preparing necessary documentation with a focus on issue resolution
- Proactively collaborate with our legal team and external counsel to monitor and anticipate changes in EMEA labor laws, ensuring that the company’s policies remain up-to-date and legally compliant across the region. Provide strategic guidance on legal implications and actively manage risks in employee relations cases
- Own and develop key HR policies such as performance management, disciplinary processes, and related procedures across the EMEA region, ensuring these processes are scalable and adaptable to the evolving needs of the organization. This includes the design and delivery of training on employee relations topics like conflict resolution, performance management, and compliance, targeted at HR teams and managers
- Track and manage employee relations cases, reporting on trends, outcomes, and actionable insights to HR leadership to improve practices across the region
- Ensure region-specific approaches to employee relations, balancing cultural nuances while maintaining consistency across the EMEA region
- Work Council Management (France): Lead the relationship with the Works Council (Comité Social et Économique, CSE) in France, ensuring effective communication, compliance with French labor laws, and smooth handling of employee matters
