Summary
Join Multiplier, a rapidly growing SaaS company, as a Legal Counsel and contribute to our global expansion. You will play a key role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements, managing the full contract lifecycle, and providing legal advice. This fully remote or hybrid (Singapore-based) position requires at least 5 years of experience in a corporate, in-house, or contract environment, a strong legal background, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a Corporate, In-house, or Contract environment
- Strong legal background or a BA in a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capacity to conduct legal research and provide analytical insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Diplomatic, approachable, with excellent business and personal judgment
- Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- High integrity and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, redline, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements
- Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation to termination
- Support various standard EoR/AoR/Employment and commercial contracts, addressing queries with moderate complexity
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with contractual terms, ensuring they align with the companyβs risk appetite and are fair and reasonable
- Provide accurate, relevant, and timely legal advice on topics like fintech, labor laws, corporate matters, etc
- Assist in the review and negotiation of client and vendor agreements, contributing to internal compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate contract databases and documentation
- Ensure all business practices comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Provide proactive day-to-day employment law counsel, helping resolve HR and legal employment issues
- Assist with a variety of other legal matters and projects as they arise
