Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Corporate, In-house, or Contract environment
  • Strong legal background or a BA in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capacity to conduct legal research and provide analytical insights
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Diplomatic, approachable, with excellent business and personal judgment
  • Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • High integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, redline, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation to termination
  • Support various standard EoR/AoR/Employment and commercial contracts, addressing queries with moderate complexity
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with contractual terms, ensuring they align with the company’s risk appetite and are fair and reasonable
  • Provide accurate, relevant, and timely legal advice on topics like fintech, labor laws, corporate matters, etc
  • Assist in the review and negotiation of client and vendor agreements, contributing to internal compliance initiatives
  • Maintain accurate contract databases and documentation
  • Ensure all business practices comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide proactive day-to-day employment law counsel, helping resolve HR and legal employment issues
  • Assist with a variety of other legal matters and projects as they arise
