Summary

The job description is for an Energy Associate in Brattle's Electricity Group to help clients address issues in the electricity sector through a combination of quantitative analysis, finance, economic theory, industry thought-leadership, and clear communication. Requirements

• Strong background in economics and/or finance and interest in the energy sector
• PhD in Economics, Public Policy or related fields with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis OR MBA or Master’s degree with a focus in Economics and 4+ years of research or professional experience in a related field

• Demonstrated potential and enthusiasm to develop new expertise areas, develop professionally, and help identify innovative solutions for our clients
• Pre or postgraduate work experience in a related field
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and verbal communications skills
• Strong analytic, quantitative, and practical problem-solving skills such as econometrics, statistics, programming, modeling, or applied mathematics
• Flexibility to use a variety of conceptual frameworks and analytical tools from across different disciplines
• Intellectual curiosity

• Strong relationship and team-building skills

• Demonstrated record of outstanding academic and/or practical accomplishment such as publications in academic journals
