Requirements
- 5+ years of experience overseeing multi-level cross-functional teams, driving technical direction, and ensuring quality standards are met through respective team leads, each serving as the SME and driving technical decisions forward
- 3+ years of experience managing other engineering managers
- A proven track record of architecting and delivering enterprise-level, reliable, and scalable solutions while effectively managing multiple competing priorities
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, guidance, and support while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture
- Be capable of taking direction from senior leadership, formulating a plan with limited information, and confidently executing while navigating ambiguity
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing full-stack applications, including APIs, database administration, ETL pipelines, and frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Strong experience with CI/CD automation, monitoring, security, compliance, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, effectively managing information flow upward to senior leadership and downward to keep their team well-informed and aligned
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical government stakeholders
- Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
- Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

- Help define the technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Collaborate closely with Architect Leadership and other engineering leads to design the productโs future state
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on technical guidance
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within an Agile environment
- Shape the technical trajectory of our products while empowering your team to achieve their full potential
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience engineering products for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
- Experience with FHIR and HL7 formats
