• Prior experience as an engineering leader, preferably on a growth engineering team

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of talented and motivated engineers
• Drive a culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration to gain deep insights into customer behaviors and enhance product effectiveness
• Develop and share comprehensive product and business context with team members
• Cultivate awareness among engineers regarding the direct correlation between their work and overarching business objectives
• Contribute actively to strategic technical decision-making processes
• Guide and spearhead changes to engineering processes and cultural practices
• Set a compelling example for the engineering team across all aspects of work

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience building robust & scalable web/app services
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Command Query Responsibility Separation (CQRS)
• Experience with MySQL/Postgresql and Redis
• Familiarity with programming languages like PHP, Javascript, Kotlin, Java or Swift/Objective C
• Previous experience in the restaurant-tech industry
