Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Apixio, a leading Connected Care platform, as an Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack team responsible for our flagship product. You will oversee a team of 4 engineers, working closely with UX design, product management, and customer support teams to drive the creation and enhancement of all aspects of our user-facing experience.

Requirements

• Leadership and Mentorship: You have a proven track record of leadership and mentorship, nurturing a collaborative and productive engineering team
• Technical Proficiency: With a strong technical background, you bring expertise in both front-end and back-end development

Responsibilities

• Translating Product Requirements: Collaborating closely with design and product management teams to translate intricate product requirements into a seamless and user-friendly experience, spanning both front-end and back-end systems
• Service Oriented Architecture and APIs: Taking ownership of a set of services critical to our flagship product. This dynamic ecosystem is built using both Java and Scala, and your leadership will ensure their continued robustness, scalability, and alignment with our product objectives
• Data Management: Overseeing several data stores that back our solution, encompassing both relational (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g. Elasticsearch, Redis) databases
• Front-end Application: Managing the front-end component, which is developed using React.js and TypeScript
