Requirements

  • Strong background in JavaScript development (at least 5 years of production experience)
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience (Team Lead / Engineering Manager) in a product company
  • Proven experience with technical delivery and accountability for team outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively in distributed teams and within larger organisational structures
  • Strong communication skills; capable of interfacing with stakeholders and meeting external expectations
  • Experience building engineering processes and teams from scratch
  • English – Upper-Intermediate or higher

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of JavaScript Security Developers/Researchers working on vulnerability analysis and patching
  • Ensure timely delivery of security patches and updates across JavaScript ecosystems
  • Organise and improve development workflows and engineering processes
  • Manage onboarding and ramp-up of new projects and libraries to the team’s scope
  • Coordinate internal documentation and make sure it reflects the actual project state
  • Align team efforts with client expectations and delivery commitments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience identifying and analysing vulnerabilities in JS applications
  • Understanding of the security vulnerability lifecycle
