Engineering Manager

Summary

Join EnergyHub's growing SupportHub team as an Engineering Manager! Lead and mentor a team of Support Engineers, providing strategic direction and execution for new initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams to define the team's roadmap and ensure high-quality work delivery. Develop and implement technical solutions, fostering continuous improvement and skill development within the team. Requirements

• Experience managing tier 3 support or software development teams
• Core technical knowledge and experience with some of the tools and technologies we use including Java, Python, AWS, MongoDB and PostGres
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to data-driven approaches to management and prioritization
• Belief in continuous improvement
• Desire to build your team’s skills through coaching, mentoring and training opportunities

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight, direction and execution for new team initiatives
• Guide team with clear direction, ensuring they are given ample resources
• Partner with teams across the organization including Product, Partner Solutions, Client Success and Program Management to define the team’s mission, vision and roadmap
• Participate in solution development and ensure team delivers high quality work on time, in scope, and in a scalable manner
• Thrive on building your team’s skills through coaching, mentoring and training opportunities
• Continuously raise the bar for your team through organizational evolution, process improvement efforts and leveling your team’s technical prowess
• Other duties as assigned
