Engineering Manager

Summary

Join ezCater's dynamic team as an Engineering Manager of the Supplier Marketing Platform squad, leading a team to build new ways for restaurant partners to grow their businesses on the platform.

Requirements

• 2+ years as an engineering manager of a team of at least 4, 7+ total years of experience in software engineering
• A passion for building and growing high-performing teams, prior management experience, and a desire to be an impactful leader
• Flexible growth mindset, you’re willing to do what it takes to adapt your team and power them for success
• Extensive full-stack web development experience. Ideally, from an eCommerce and/or SaaS setting
• Working knowledge of modern server-side and client-side frameworks. Ruby, Rails, and React would be a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor an exceptional team of software engineers
• Contribute to the overall success of the engineering manager cohort across the organization
• Operate with scale and speed, determining the ideal development lifecycle, technical design, and approach for new and existing solutions
• Contribute technically: Brainstorm with engineers, design technical solutions, occasionally review PRs
• Leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams in the organization
• Have fun building meaningful software with wonderful people who enjoy shipping impactful work
