The ideal candidate possesses at least 2 years of engineering management experience and 5 years as a developer, along with strong leadership, technical, project management, and soft skills. Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years of engineering management experience and 5 years as a developer
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of system architecture, web technologies (Vue3, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTTP, APIs, CloudFlare), and code design
• Project Management: Experience managing multiple team deliverables and improving the delivery process
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and a focus on results

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Development: Own the architecture, design, development, deployment, and ongoing performance of the Hostinger Horizons platform
• Grow and Guide the Team: Lead a team of 10 talented developers, providing mentorship, technical direction, and professional growth opportunities
• Drive Hiring and Team Development: Take an active role in hiring top talent, onboarding new team members, supporting career growth, and managing the full employee lifecycle
• Shape the Roadmap: Collaborate on planning, estimation, and strategy discussions to drive the evolution of the product
• Partner with Product: Work closely with the Product Manager to align on priorities, clarify requirements, and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives
• Ensure Platform Stability: Take ownership of system reliability, performance, and scalability—ensuring the platform remains robust as we grow
• Provide Technical Leadership: Tackle complex engineering challenges, unblock your team, and lead by example in solving technical problems
• Maintain High Standards: Champion clean code, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and uphold best practices in software development
