• Have hands-on coding experience in a dynamic or strongly typed language (Python preferred)

• Have previously worked as a software engineer

Responsibilities

• Bring hands-on coding experience in a dynamic or strongly typed language (Python preferred) and use that knowledge to guide and support your team
• Collaborate with Product and Technical Leads to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, from design to maintenance
• Manage, mentor and oversee a team of 5 engineers, helping them grow through regular feedback and coaching
• Champion high standards in engineering practices, holding your team accountable for technical and operational excellence
• Build strong relationships across the team, foster focus and productivity, and partner with senior/lead engineers to implement impactful technical initiatives
• Shape and contribute to best practices across the wider engineering team, driving continuous improvement
