Join ReadMe's growing engineering team as an Engineering Manager, contributing to a people-first culture and shaping the developer landscape through documentation. You will maintain and expand company culture, influence the product roadmap, directly manage and support a team of engineers, mentor team members, and write code. The ideal candidate is passionate about developer tools, empathetic leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with various teams to build a seamless user journey and help create a developer experience you'd want to use. Requirements
- Have experience as a technical manager with a focus on growth and mentorship

Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the culture of not just the engineering team, but the company in general
- Have a large say in the roadmap, both from a resourcing perspective (what the engineering team has bandwidth for) and from a product perspective (what you think we should be working on)
- Directly manage and support a team of engineers, enabling them to do their best work
- Mentor engineers to make sure theyโre able to be the best versions of themselves at ReadMe
- Write code! All our managers stay hands-on with the product
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to build a seamless user journey
