Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team
• A proven track record of developing high-performing teams capable of solving complex problems and delivering elegant, scalable solutions
• Experience leading engineering teams and delving into technical details to assist the team in making decisions that result in efficient, flexible, scalable systems
• Capability to attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Interactions with senior leadership require executive presence
• You are an excellent communicator with exceptional listening skills and the ability to see the big picture and effectively communicate it at all levels
• You successfully influence product direction as a thought partner to your business stakeholders. Product Managers actively seek out your ideas (PMs). You can take a conceptual idea and turn it into a test that is both feasible and meets business requirements

• Build a team of top engineering talent that is high-performing, inclusive, and diverse
• Form strong, trusted relationships with Product Managers, Engineering Leadership, and Business Stakeholders
• Help your team grasp priorities and provide context to help them make better decisions by assisting them in understanding priorities and providing context
• Drive success in a flat company with few processes and a strong focus on individual accountability
• Understand the business and develop domain expertise in relevant functions
