Engineering Manager

Summary

Requirements

• 7-10 years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on backend and cloud-based solutions
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 3+ engineers
• Expertise in Python and experience with Node.js for AWS Lambda functions
• Familiarity with React
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Amplify, Cognito, Step Functions, CDK)
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like AirFlow and dbt
• Knowledge of database technologies (Postgres, DynamoDB) and familiarity with Snowflake
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven problem-solving skills and independence in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Refine our analytics engine to extract more nuanced insights from patient records
• Streamline recurring calculations and enhance data transmission and storage methods
• Improve our architecture to be more maintainable, testable, and cost-effective
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) across our suite of organizational applications using a federated login solution
• Develop and integrate a regression testing framework into our analytics stack

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the health tech domain, particularly in hospital billing systems, is highly advantageous
