Remote Software Engineering Manager

As the Manager of Software Engineering, you'll report to the VP of Software Engineering and be responsible for managing cross-functional delivery teams. You'll collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, and engineering specialties to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience working on both server- and client-side web software
• Familiarity with cloud development, Test Driven Development (TDD), RESTful APIs, React, XSS attacks, and MVC web frameworks
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including pointers, Big O notation, composition vs inheritance, arrays, linked lists, and sets
• Firm grasp of SQL and databases, including CRUD operations, indexes, left joins, and inner joins

• Manage cross-functional delivery teams
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, and engineering specialties
• Define engineering processes, track, and coordinate development initiatives
• Recruit, motivate, retain, and lead a diverse team of engineers
• Deliver high-quality software sustainably with a predictable cadence
