Summary
Join Tekmetric, a rapidly growing cloud-based auto-repair shop management system company, as an Engineering Manager. Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of our products. Guide technical direction, ensure high-quality engineering work, and support team member growth. You will own your team's delivery and work closely with other departments. This role requires 7+ years in software development with at least 2 years of engineering leadership experience. Requirements
- 7+ years in software development with at least 2 years of engineering leadership experience
- You have built and developed an impactful team of passionate engineers
- You are able to tackle sophisticated engineering problems that deliver results which help the team to achieve its objectives
- Youβre passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Own your teamβs delivery, quality and timely execution
- Guide key technical decisions around new product initiatives
- Work closely with other departments, including product, design, and QA, to align engineering activities with company objectives
- Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and practices to enhance team efficiency and product quality
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new engineering team members
