Engineering Manager

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Engineering manager or in a similar leadership role
• Excellent communication skills to supervise staff and collaborate with other managers
• 5+ years of experience in a developer position
• Familiarity with industry development standards and technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka
• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage evolving project requirements
• Proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams
• Establish goals and objectives for each team, ensuring they are met consistently
• Monitor and improve team velocity to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Make key technical decisions, design solutions, negotiate with teams, and define deliverables and deadlines
• Recruit new team members, ensuring the right talent is brought on board
• Provide clear goals and objectives for engineers, fostering their growth through performance reviews and continuous feedback
• Drive innovation by introducing new ideas, approaches, and techniques to enhance the product and support team development
