Engineering Manager

Summary

The job is for an Engineering Manager in the Notifications team at Whatnot, a fast-growing livestream shopping platform. • Are comfortable with technical debt and how to leverage it
• Understand how to instrument product metrics, recognizing the value and limits of data
• Can effectively manage stakeholders, competing priorities and deal with ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Shape the platform and product strategy to ensure buyers and sellers have a great Notifications experience and drive significant business growth through the channel
• Hire and develop engineers across all consumer applications and backend systems
• Collaborate with product and design counterparts to influence the strategic direction of the team
• Plan and manage projects, coordinating and aligning your team‘s goals against others across the business
