Engineering Manager

Summary

Join our team at Pair Eyewear as we revolutionize the eyewear industry! As an Engineering Manager, you will own our headless Shopify site and help deliver a fast and accessible experience to customers. You will manage two pods (Purchase and Repeat) which drive new customer and returning customer growth respectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, primarily building scalable React apps
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, either managing engineers or as a tech lead
• Experience working within a headless Shopify environment
• Experience working with Shopify apps and integrations like Klaviyo, Heap, and Elevar

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend engineering pods to deliver impactful customer experiences while defining and executing the technology strategy
• Foster a culture of clean, scalable, and efficient code by setting best practices and actively contributing to code reviews and development when necessary
• Continuously improve the development lifecycle by refining scoping, development, and QA processes to ensure rapid, high-quality delivery
• Work closely with cross-functional partners in Digital Product, Design, Analytics, and key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals
