Ensure Canva's cloud footprint remains compliant and cost-optimized without hindering innovation. Drive platform-wide efficiency programs, automate compliance, and partner with various teams to achieve data-informed governance. Develop high performers, advocate for governance as an innovation enabler, and contribute to Canva's responsible scaling. This role involves leading a team focused on cloud cost optimization and compliance, guiding strategic direction across FinOps and compliance automation, partnering with other teams, supporting operational excellence, developing high performers, and advocating for governance.

Requirements

• You’ve led platform or infrastructure teams through complex technical landscapes
• You understand cloud cost optimisation and compliance (especially in AWS & GCP)
• You’re a strong communicator who can align technical and business stakeholders

• Leading a high-impact team focused on cloud cost optimisation and compliance at scale

• Partnering with security, finance, and platform teams to drive data-informed governance
• Supporting operational excellence while delivering business outcomes that scale
• Developing high performers and growing the team’s capabilities for Canva’s future needs
