Summary

Join Calendly's Trust & Safety team as an Engineering Manager and lead a team focused on safeguarding the platform's integrity. Requirements

  • Proven experience in Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong technical acumen, with a deep understanding of detection and prevention systems, machine learning applications, and scalable platform solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Experience navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a diverse team of Trust & Safety engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Define and drive the Trust & Safety roadmap in conjunction with your product counterpart and in alignment with company objectives and priorities; identify emerging threats and develop proactive strategies to address them
  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable processes and systems to detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent and abusive behaviors; monitor and analyze key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of Trust & Safety initiatives
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to integrate Trust & Safety considerations into the development lifecycle; advocate for Trust & Safety priorities and ensure alignment across stakeholders
