Engineering Team Lead - AI

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI development and deployment
• 3+ years of experience using AWS AI services
• Strong programming skills in Python and other relevant languages
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and multiple LLMs, including Response Augmentation for extraction, summarization, search, and generation of new content
• Experience with AI-supported document processing, video analysis, interaction and engagement data, and assessment
• Strong understanding of data pipelines and data engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for AI projects, ensuring best practices
• Develop and deploy AI models for document, video, and interaction data using AWS and other model/service providers
• Build and maintain data pipelines for AI model training and deployment
• Collaborate very closely with peer tech leads with responsibility for ensuring successful development and integration of specific features into platform modules
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to AI team members
• Evaluate and recommend new AI technologies and tools
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define AI requirements
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models
• Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Contribute to code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the EdTech industry is a plus
• Experience with MLOps practices is a plus
