Software Engineer Team Lead

Requirements

• Experience leading remote development teams (either professionally or through open-source projects)
• Solid experience in Java application development and/or software architecture
• Experience with microservices environments (Circuit breaker, Idempotency, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
• Experience with Java development frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
• Experience with event-driven architecture design
• Ability to work effectively as a team player, collaborating with your team and other teams within the organization
• At least intermediate written and spoken English proficiency
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle

Responsibilities

• Plan your team's work week-to-week and ensure each member's accountability
• Manage your team members as a tech lead
• Drive technical direction in projects and ensure they meet scalability and robustness requirements
• Actively participate in projects, delving into the codebase and serving as a senior authority in software development tasks and projects
• Hire team members
• Communicate and coordinate planning between different teams
