Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework
• Experience with Livewire and Vue.js for front-end development
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure
• Proven experience with high-traffic applications and large-scale databases
• Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor other engineers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of when to prioritize building things correctly versus building them quickly
• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in coding best practices and software development methodologies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
• Architect and implement scalable solutions for high-traffic applications and large databases
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software applications
• Collaborate with the team to solve complex technical challenges
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals
• Participate in planning and design sessions, offering technical insights
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly
