Summary

Join Boomi's sales team as a key contributor in formulating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy. You will be responsible for carrying the quota for the entire Boomi suite of products, driving revenue growth within the existing SLED customer base, primarily higher education. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with customers to understand their challenges and goals, consulting on solutions that align with their business objectives. This role involves territory/account management, sales forecasting, and leading the sales process. The position requires 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a focus on SLED for 3-5 years. It's a remote role based in the Central Region (Midwest or TOLA).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience
  • 3-5 years of experience focused on SLED
  • Demonstrated success with State/Local Government and Education (SLED) organizations and closing complex deals

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy
  • Carry the quota for the entire Boomi suite of products
  • Drive revenue growth within the existing customer base (SLED accounts, largely higher education)
  • Collaborate with current customers to understand their company challenges and goals
  • Consult with State/Local Government and Education customers on the Boomi Platform
  • Advocate solutions that align with customers' business objectives
  • Contribute to the business growth of the sales community
  • Maintain a balanced sales effort of product and services knowledge and selling skills
  • Grow and own a book specific to SLED accounts
  • Understand customers’ business and solutions requirements
  • Manage territory/accounts, including account planning and sales forecasting
  • Regularly engage with decision-makers at client facilities
  • Lead sales processes and utilize all available resources to manage accounts
  • Support large, complex accounts
  • Analyze and leverage industry, competitor, and market data to set strategy
  • Gain access and manage relationships with senior-level executives
  • Identify business trends and leverage sales team strengths to create a differentiated offering
  • Interface directly with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Establish performance goals and metrics to drive execution
  • Conduct informal coaching sessions with internal teams
  • Provide insight and thought leadership to customers to create and leverage strategic partnerships
  • Anticipate customer needs beyond the existing scope of products and services
  • Identify cost-effective and practical alternatives by bundling products/services to maximize opportunity while meeting customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • World-class account manager with strong boardroom/executive presence
  • Seen internally and externally as the senior authority in a given segment and/or channel
  • Experience being leveraged to coach/mentor others

Benefits

  • On Target Earnings (OTE) of $260K - $310K (inclusive of commission)
