Summary

Join European Dynamics as an Enterprise Architect and contribute your expertise remotely to a major client's IT team. You will collect feedback from various departments, participate in standardization events, and create technical specifications and design documents. Responsibilities include writing architecture overview documents, performing code audits, and ensuring correct architecture implementation. This role requires extensive experience in IT architecture, relational databases, web application development, and specific technologies like microservices and blockchain. Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT
  • Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in architecture of information systems
  • Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL…)
  • Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise with the visual modeling and design tool (like Sparx Enterprise Architect)
  • Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in developing secure web applications, with expertise in secure development practices
  • Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in in Object Oriented design patterns e.g. adapter with expertise in design patterns
  • Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in an international/multicultural environment and on large projects
  • Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in Java development (both with J2SE and J2EE)
  • Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in architecture with microservices
  • Minimum 2 years’ of specific expertise in architecture with the blockchain technology
  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience in architecture with the Verifiable Credential tech
  • Minimum 2 years’ of specific expertise in data lake architecture
  • Minimum 1 year of experience on the development of harmonized standards by a European Standardization Body
  • Minimum 1 year of experience on the development of standards with a non-European standardization body e.g. ISO, IEC, W3C, UNECE recommendation
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such frameworks
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN and enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS
  • Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

  • Collect feedback from all departments involved in the technical deliverables and propose a consolidated technical position
  • Participate in international and European standardization events
  • Write and maintain technical specifications about how to use the harmonized standards for the IT development of the components
  • Write and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for the various components (Registry, Web App)
  • Write the architecture overview documents for the IT components and get them validated
  • Perform regular audits on the code, including checking that the architecture is correctly implemented

Preferred Qualifications

Technical knowledge of eIDAS regulation will be considered an asset
