You will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, focusing on expanding our network and partnerships within the insurance and financial sectors across APAC. The core responsibility of the role revolves around lead generation, market research, and appointment setting.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in B2B business development, preferably within the insurance industry or a consulting firm
- Must have experience in enterprise-level business development or lead generation
- Strong interest in fintech, entrepreneurship, insurance, business development, and marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with proficiency in English, (Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus)
- Atleast 2 years of experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and other outreach tools (like MailMerge)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated team player capable of working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced startup environment
- Design and tech-based skills are advantageous
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Must be physically based in the Philippines
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive market research to identify new products, emerging markets, competitors, potential partners, and distribution channels
- Conduct lead generation activities on a daily basis which involve identifying and engaging potential customers through various strategies such as email campaigns, social media outreach, and appointment setting to drive interest and generate new business opportunities
- Ensure targets and goals are reached and CRM and other tracking tools are updated
- Explore partnership opportunities by engaging with potential collaborators to foster mutually beneficial relationships
- Research fintech and insurtech startups and solutions that align with our business objectives, assessing their potential integration into our offerings
- Contribute to business development activities, including outreach and meetings with potential clients such as insurance companies, banks, brokers, and agency partners across the APAC region and internationally
- Collaborate directly with senior management e.g. CEO and Deputy CEO to gain insights and contribute to strategic decisions in the insurance and insurtech sectors
- Actively participate in startup and fintech events, including investor round-tables and conferences, to expand our network and industry presence across APAC
- Manage and maintain LinkedIn profiles to enhance our branding and visibility, building a consistent and positive corporate image
