Engage with prospects and key accounts to craft compelling solution strategies grounded in clinical workflows and enterprise IT realities. This role requires a strong understanding of imaging technologies, healthcare infrastructure, cybersecurity, and clinical informatics. The position reports to the Chief Revenue/Growth Officer and involves up to 50% travel, including occasional weekends. Requirements

  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting, preferably within healthcare IT or enterprise imaging
  • Proven experience with enterprise imaging architectures, including DICOM, HL7, IHE, PACS/VNA systems, and cloud infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity frameworks, identity management, and infrastructure within HIPAA-regulated environments
  • Demonstrated excellence in public speaking, executive communication, and leading technical discovery or proposal sessions
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including periodic on-site visits with prospects and customers

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead and solution architect in complex sales cycles, helping prospects and customers design future-ready imaging platforms
  • Drive technical discovery sessions and shape architectures that align with clinical workflows, EHR environments, and enterprise infrastructure
  • Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and stakeholder workshops with credibility and clarity
  • Participate in detailed security reviews and infosec questionnaires; articulate Sirona’s cloud-native architecture, security controls, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2)
  • Liaise with internal security and compliance teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource on cybersecurity trends, cloud risk mitigation, and imaging data governance
  • Collaborate with existing customers to identify success patterns, understand implementation challenges, and surface best practices that inform future deployments
  • Build and maintain competitive awareness of PACS, RIS, VNA, and AI imaging vendors to guide positioning and solution differentiation
  • Represent Sirona Medical at industry events, webinars, and customer advisory boards as a thought leader and technical advocate
  • Work closely with Account Executives to qualify technical fit, shape proposal strategies, and respond to complex RFPs
  • Develop reusable assets—solution diagrams, whitepapers, and technical positioning collateral—for internal enablement and external consumption
  • Provide technical mentorship across the commercial team to strengthen messaging and improve alignment with product capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) or equivalent Imaging Informatics certification strongly preferred
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA, MPH, MHA, or PhD) in Engineering, Health Informatics, Medical Imaging, or a related technical field strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR integration (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and encounter-based imaging workflows across multiple clinical specialties strongly preferred
  • Experience navigating infosec reviews, RFPs, and compliance documentation in healthcare sales cycles strongly preferred
  • Background in competitive landscape analysis (e.g., familiarity with vendors like Sectra, Visage, Intelerad, Nuance, Agfa, TeraRecon, etc) strongly preferred
