Summary

RideNow Powersports is hiring entry level techs for their dealership operations and fulfillment center in Ocala, FL. The role involves both building and mechanic duties including loading and unloading inventory, documenting shipping damages, assembling vehicles, cleaning up the shop, preparing units for delivery, checking fluids and adjustments, performing basic maintenance, installing/changing tires, and assisting with other tasks. Requirements include having basic mechanical knowledge, being able to move heavy motorcycles, a clean driving record, team orientation, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and the ability to work long hours including Saturdays. Preferred requirements are hands-on experience in a powersports dealership, a motorcycle endorsement, and the ability to work 40-50 hours per week.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Know how to use a set of tools
• Capable of moving large, heavy motorcycles (some up to 850 pounds fully dressed)
• Clean driving record required
• Team Oriented- Works well with Managers, Technicians, and Customers
• Maintain an organized, tidy, and safe workspace
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced high volume environment
• Ability to be on your feet most of the day

Responsibilities

• Load and Unload inventory
• Provide detailed documentation of any shipping damages, including photos and parts needed for repairs immediately to the Service Advisor or Service Manager
• Assemble Powersports vehicles according to the checklist provided by the manufacturer
• Clean up the shop every morning before starting work and after each individual job/build is complete
• Prepare units for delivery
• Check fluids, tire pressure, and adjustments on all bikes
• Perform basic maintenance and oil changes as requested
• Install/Change tires
• Assist with other duties as requested by management and Senior level technicians

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a powersports dealership handling basic maintenance items on bikes and assembling powersports vehicles, desired
• Motorcycle endorsement, desired
