Summary
RideNow Powersports is hiring entry level techs for their new facility in Dallas. The selected candidates will build new units and perform basic repairs and maintenance on a range of powersports vehicles. They are expected to provide documentation of shipping damages, assemble vehicles according to checklists, clean up the shop, and perform basic maintenance and repairs. Requirements include a minimum of 6 months hands-on experience or MMI graduation, basic mechanical knowledge, team orientation, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a clean driving record. Preferred qualifications are hands-on experience in a powersports dealership, motorcycle endorsement, and ownership of a basic set of tools. Requirements
- MMI Graduate or a minimum of 6 months hands-on experience handling basic maintenance items on bikes and assembling powersports vehicles
- Capable of moving large, heavy motorcycles (some up to 850 pounds fully dressed)
- Clean driving record required
- Desire to continue training and education to improve technical skills
- Team Oriented- Works well with managers and other team members
- Maintain an organized, tidy, and safe workspace
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced high volume environment
- Ability to be on your feet most of the day
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed documentation of any shipping damages on new vehicles, including photos and parts needed for repairs immediately to the Service Advisor or Service Manager
- Assemble Powersports vehicles according to the checklist provided by the manufacturer
- Clean up the shop every morning before starting work and after each individual job/build is complete
- Check fluids, tire pressure, and adjustments on all bikes
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs per vehicle inspection checklist
- Assist with other duties as requested by management
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in a powersports dealership handling basic maintenance items on bikes and assembling powersports vehicles, desired
- Motorcycle endorsement, desired
- Own a basic set of tools for assembling powerpsorts vehicles, preferred
