Requirements

  • B.A/B.S from an accredited university. In the absence of a B.A./B.S, one (1) to three (3) years work experience in collections is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), the Internet, and ability to learn Collection Partner (Hubbard)
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials as well as establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining professional working relationships with a diverse group of individuals
  • Dependable, with strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Ability to work overtime as mandated

Responsibilities

  • Review files and independently prepare appropriate correspondence as assigned
  • Answer and return telephone calls from property owners, negotiate payment plan terms, and make recommendations for hardship consideration
  • Create payment plan modules and monitor payment plan status persistently
  • Understand and follow office policies to ensure compliance
  • Establish a level of proficiency on client nuances
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish a plus but not required
