Event Marketing Assistant

Summary

A growing local firm is seeking an Event Marketing Assistant to support the planning, execution, and follow-up of community-based fundraising events on behalf of nonprofit clients. The role requires collaboration with marketing and events teams, daily event logistics management, on-site event support, and maintaining event compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, sales initiatives, promotional presentations, and brand management
• Support team members in daily event logistics, including inventory management, fundraising, and community outreach
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
• Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance
• Maintain event compliance and organization at all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience (internship or entry-level position) in event planning, marketing, or nonprofit fundraising is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with event management software is desirable
