Summary
Join our tech client as an Events Program Manager for a contract role extending to June 2026! You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage various events, including in-person, virtual, and executive meetings. Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and supporting first and third-party events is crucial. The role is primarily remote, with potential for international travel. You will provide end-to-end event support, establish processes, manage communications, coordinate speakers, and ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of event management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Compensation is $100,000-$120,000 annually.
Requirements
- 5+ years of event coordination or management experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience coordinating programs
- Previous experience working at Microsoft as an FTE or Vendor
- Experience supporting first and third-party events
- Experience running virtual webinars and/or virtual event series
- Proficient in Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint & Loop
- Ability to create and update .OFT templates for outlook
- Exceptional cross-group collaboration skills and proactive communicator
- Ability to work independently across organizations & interface with global team members
- Experience leading workstreams with multiple stakeholders
- Experience planning, organizing, and executing multiple workstreams with different cadences and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Provide end to end support for a list of predetermined 1st and 3rd party events. Event sizes can range from 10-100,000+
- Establish Rhythm of Business (RoB) and process around event planning
- Create and send event communications (T minus emails, newsletters etc)
- Speaker & content coordination
- Lead customer βknow before you goβ meetings
- Ensure onsite event operations are executed seamlessly
- Manage ongoing communications with core internal and external partners, show organizers, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and aligned execution
- Create and manage comprehensive workback schedules that include clear R&Rs with deadlines
- Support booth design in some cases
- Coordinate exclusive customer events including workshops, roundtables, dinners, and receptions
- Track event ROI and provide reporting
- Digital event management and webinar support
