Summary

Invisible is seeking an experienced Executive Director of PR and Communications to lead global communications efforts. This role requires a candidate with deep knowledge in media relations, crisis communication, and corporate reputation management. The position offers remote work, substantial equity compensation, and a base salary of $145,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in PR/communications
  • Proven track record of developing comprehensive PR strategies and managing communication for a global brand
  • Excellent writing skills with a good mix of creative and professional abilities
  • Deep research capability to support communication efforts and stay informed about industry trends
  • A strong network with well regarded media organizations and publications
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and polished communication materials
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with executive coaching and advising senior leaders on communication best practices

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies
  • Act as primary lead on all business communications
  • Lead internal communications efforts
  • Collaborate with business partners to co-create joint press releases
  • Drive the executive visibility strategy
  • Manage rapid response communications
  • Monitor the media landscape for opportunities and threats
  • Serve as a primary PR contact
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment
  • Oversee the execution of strategic B2B initiatives
  • Use analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and adapt as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the tech industry and experience in AI or related B2B technology sectors is preferred
