Experimentation Lead

Summary

Join Spreetail as an Experimentation Lead and own our advanced experimentation engines, roadmaps, and methodologies. Reporting to the VP of Decision Science, you'll be the subject matter expert for experimentation, working with a talented team of executives and experts. This role is 100% remote in select states and requires expertise in A/B/n testing, statistical analysis, and experiment design. You will drive a learning roadmap from hypothesis generation to delivering causal learning, operationalizing learnings for org-wide rollouts. The ideal candidate has extensive experience running randomized controlled experiments and delivering significant gains on KPIs. Requirements

• Advanced understanding of experimentation designs and measurement capabilities and requirements to drive successful learnings
• Intermediate skills in Python for statistical programming
• Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end experimentation programs at scale
• Excellent communication abilities
• Excellent project management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Own and operate advanced and proprietary experimentation engines, roadmaps, and methodologies
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for experimentation across the company
• Systematically drive a learning roadmap from hypothesis generation to delivering a causal learning run
• Deliver causal learning run to the MDE designed for pre-test
• Operationalize learnings in org-wide rollouts to capture the full value
• Design experiments that test one data model or technology vs another
• Break down major initiatives and insights needs into smaller components and tasks
• Embody the Science & Technology Principles and use them to guide decisions
• Create an environment of knowledge sharing and growth, placing a high priority on leading and developing others

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in content, pricing, advertising, and/or ecommerce experimentation at scale
• A degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• Advanced-to-expert level SQL extract (SELECT statements) skills
