Anika Systems is seeking a Federal Program Director with 8+ years of experience in program/project management to lead and centralize program management activities for federal government agencies. The role requires active security clearance, a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (Master's preferred), and PMP certification. The position involves strategic leadership, governance, technology integration, comprehensive program management, stakeholder engagement, business development, and talent development.

Requirements

  • Active security clearance is a must
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in an IT-related field (Masterโ€™s preferred to bring advanced strategic insight)
  • Minimum. 8+ years of program/project management experience, with a strong background in leading complex, cross-functional teams and large-scale projects
  • Experience leading multiple teams with various focuses such as Software Development, Communications, Training, Testing, Front Office, and Project Management
  • Experience l. eading. large. team. s. of at least 50 full-time employees for a single program
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required to ensure best practices
  • Experience implementing and leading Agile and SAFe teams
  • Government Consulting Expertise (preferably with Big 4 Companies): Extensive. experience in government consulting, with a deep understanding of the federal landscape and client needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of multiple high-impact concurrent programs, including those with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
  • Develop and implement robust governance structures to support strategic objectives and optimize resource allocation across diverse initiatives
  • Coordinate end-to-end integration and deployment efforts across programs and with commercial vendors, ensuring alignment with other programs and acquisitions to enhance efficiency and innovation
  • Manage the contractual, financial, and technical dimensions of the program, ensuring compliance with federal standards and maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop and align Program Strategic Objectives, Roadmap, and Implementation Plans with organizational goals
  • Lead proposal development activities, conduct competitive analysis, and formulate pricing strategies that position the company competitively in the marketplace
  • Mentor team members, fostering career advancement and performance improvement through targeted development initiatives
