Summary

Join Andesite, a cybersecurity firm building security products that transform how humans and AI collaborate to defend against cyber threats, as a Field Engineer. You will be part of the enterprise sales team, focusing on government business. This pivotal role involves driving customer adoption by supporting the sales process with technical expertise and exceptional communication. Collaborate with sales, prospects, and customers to understand their technical requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and ensure seamless platform integration. Analyze customer needs, architect solutions, and build integrations using APIs and scripting tools. Manage leads and opportunities using CRM, collect success criteria, and partner with product and engineering teams. The position requires strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience in the government sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of presales engineering experience in the Government cybersecurity space
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to SIEMs, Data Lakes, Endpoint Detection & Response, Threat Intel Platforms, Security Orchestration Automation and Response, and cloud security solutions
  • Proficiency in Python for API integration
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including opportunity management
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
  • Familiarity with Government programs and operations

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to demonstrate and deliver on our solutions value propositions
  • Identify customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops
  • Act as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, building trust and credibility with all stakeholders
  • Analyze customer requirements to architect solutions that align with their security needs
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot integrations, leveraging APIs and scripting tools such as Python
  • Assist customers in implementing proof-of-value (POV) solutions and integrations
  • Leverage CRM to manage leads, opportunities, POV (proof-of-value) engagements, and customer interactions effectively
  • Collect and document success criteria and milestones as defined by our customers
  • Partner with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and competitive landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CEH, or similar
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Active clearance
